Built4U is a point-of-sale and inventory system made for Philippine hardware stores — thousands of SKUs, buy by box and sell by piece, deliveries from suppliers, and customers who pay on credit. All of it on the same screen your cashier already uses.
items per branch, tested — searchable by code, name or barcode
Receive by the box, sell by the piece, with the maths done for you
Typical cashier training before your first day live
Most systems assume you sell a handful of neat products. A hardware store sells bolts by the piece and by the box, cement by the bag, wire by the meter — to walk-ins and to contractors who pay later. Built4U was built around that reality.
One item, one unit, one price. Selling a piece out of a box means a calculator and a guess.
Receive a box of 100 and it converts to pieces automatically — no mental math at the counter.
Utang lives in a notebook beside the register, and nobody is sure who still owes what.
Credit per customer, partial payments and aging — on screen at the counter, with a paper trail.
Costs are whatever was typed in last year, so your margin is a story, not a number.
Moving-average costing updates as supplier prices rise, so the margin you see is honest.
Everything below is included — not modules you unlock later.
Barcode scanning, split payments, price override with manager approval, held sales and discounts — built for speed at a busy counter.
Set the conversion once. Receive a box of 100, sell singles, and stock, cost and margin all follow without anyone doing arithmetic.
Thousands of items across categories, locations and units. Low-stock alerts, stocktake and adjustments, each with an audit trail.
Track utang per customer, take partial payments, and see aging so nothing quietly goes uncollected. Supplier payables work the same way.
Cashiers open and close a shift with a denomination count, and cash taken in or out mid-shift is recorded. You see if the drawer is short, and whose shift it was.
Purchase orders with approval routing, deliveries received against the PO, and costs updated as stock arrives.
Prints to a standard thermal printer and kicks the drawer — with your store name, logo and footer message on every slip.
Accept the ways people actually pay, split one sale across two of them, and send the balance to a customer’s account when they’re short.
Profit and margin, sales by cashier or by hour, dead stock, reorder suggestions, inventory valuation — on screen, exported to PDF or Excel, or emailed to whoever needs them.
Open the dashboard on your phone and see today’s sales, transactions, average basket and the last seven days — without ringing the store.
Each branch keeps its own stock and cash, with transfers between them and one place to see everything.
Roles decide who can discount, adjust stock or view cost prices. Sensitive actions are logged against a name, so questions have answers.
Every delivery, transfer, sale and adjustment updates one count. Items running low surface themselves — with the supplier, the last cost and a suggested quantity already attached.
Open an account at the counter in under a minute. Set the credit limit, the price tier and who is allowed to charge on it. Balances and aging come out of the same system that rang up the sale.
Built4U runs in a web browser, so a normal PC or laptop is enough. Send us a photo of your counter setup and we’ll tell you straight whether it works as is.
Runs in Chrome or Edge on the machine you already have. Nothing to install at the counter.
The kind that types the barcode for you. Scan, and the item drops straight into the cart.
Network or USB thermal printers, with your store name, logo and footer on every slip.
Wired through the receipt printer, the way most counters are already set up.
Record how each sale was paid, split it across two methods, or charge the balance to an account.
The dashboard opens in a phone browser. Check today’s sales from anywhere.
Most stores are running within a week — the heavy lifting is on our side.
An Excel file, an export from an old system, even a printed price list. We clean it up, sort it into categories and load it for you.
Your units, categories, suppliers, staff accounts and printer — configured and tested before you go live.
The counter screen is simple enough to learn in an afternoon, and we stay reachable while you settle in.
We’re a small Philippine team, not a call centre in another timezone. You get the people who actually built the system — and if Built4U isn’t the right fit for your store, we’ll say so on the first call instead of selling you a contract.
Something specific to your store? Ask us — we’d rather answer it with your own items on the screen.
Usually not. Built4U runs in a web browser on a normal PC or laptop, and works with standard USB barcode scanners and network thermal printers. If you already have a counter setup, it most likely works as is.
Being straight with you: the system needs a connection, so a long outage stops sales. Most stores keep a mobile hotspot as backup. Offline mode is on the roadmap — ask us where it stands.
Yes. Send whatever you have — spreadsheets, exports, or lists — and we handle the import, including cleaning up duplicates and inconsistent units.
You decide. Cashiers can be limited to selling, while discounts, stock adjustments, cost prices and reports stay with you. Sensitive actions are recorded against the staff member’s name.
It depends on how many branches you run and how much setup help you need. Message us and we’ll quote you plainly — no lock-in contract.
Message us on any of these — whichever is easiest for you. We’ll set up a walkthrough on your own items: screen share, or in person if you’re nearby. No obligation.
